Form plugins supported by Form Analytics

Form Analytics finds every form on a page and recognises the plugin that built it from its markup. For plugins that submit with AJAX, a submission is counted only when the plugin’s own success event fires, and a rejected attempt is counted as an error, not as a lead. You get views, starts, submissions, abandonment and a field-by-field drop-off funnel for each form, with a replay of the sessions that gave up.

Cache and performance plugins

Optimizers that merge, defer or delay JavaScript are the usual reason an analytics tracker goes silent. Opti-Behavior registers its tracking scripts in each optimizer’s own exclusion filters, so they load untouched while the rest of your site stays optimised. Tracking runs in the visitor’s browser, so visits to fully cached pages are counted too. For A/B tests, the variant cookie is declared to WP Rocket and LiteSpeed Cache so a cached page never serves the wrong variant.

Themes and page builders

Opti-Behavior never reads theme files. It works on the page as the visitor’s browser renders it, so it does not matter which theme or builder produced the HTML. Click, move, attention and scroll heatmaps are drawn over your real page. Session recordings rebuild the page from its DOM, including content a builder injects after load. The A/B visual editor opens your live page, whatever built it.

When you open Funnels, Opti-Behavior checks which commerce, membership, course or booking plugin runs on the site and looks up its real pages: shop, cart, checkout, pricing, registration, account. Funnel recipes are then filled with your own URLs instead of placeholders. 22 recipes ship with the plugin, 8 in Free and 14 in Pro.

Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager

Opti-Behavior does not need Google Analytics, and replaces it for behaviour data. If you keep GA4 for reporting, Pro sends each A/B test assignment to it, so you can segment any GA4 report by variant. Four custom dimensions are sent (test name, variant name, test ID, variant ID) with two events: opti_ab_impression and opti_ab_conversion.

Most plugins need no integration: tracking works on the rendered page. Two filters cover the rest. One teaches Form Analytics the markup and events of another form plugin. The other adds your own scripts to the list protected from optimizers.

Do I need to configure my cache plugin?

No. Opti-Behavior registers its tracking scripts in the exclusion filters of WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, Autoptimize, SG Optimizer, Perfmatters, WP-Optimize, Jetpack Boost, W3 Total Cache and Breeze. For optimizers without such a filter, the script tags carry no-optimize markers; if scripts are still delayed, add opti-behavior to the exclusion list of that plugin.

Does it work with Elementor, Divi and other page builders?

Yes. Opti-Behavior works on the page as the browser renders it, not on theme files, so heatmaps, session recordings and the A/B visual editor work with Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, WPBakery, Gutenberg, Oxygen, Brizy, Breakdance and any theme that outputs standard HTML.

Which form plugins does Form Analytics support?

Sixteen are detected automatically: Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms, Forminator, Everest Forms, SureForms, MetForm, Elementor forms, Gutenverse Form, Calculated Fields Form, WooCommerce checkout, Ultimate Membership Pro and the native WordPress forms. Any other form is tracked as a plain HTML form. Form Analytics is part of Opti-Behavior Pro.

How does it work with my cookie consent banner?

In Anonymous mode no cookie is set and no IP address is stored, so no banner is needed. In Full Tracking mode, Opti-Behavior detects Cookiebot, Complianz, CookieYes, Moove GDPR Cookie Compliance, Cookie Notice, Real Cookie Banner, Borlabs Cookie and WP DSGVO Tools, lets that plugin ask for consent and respects the visitor’s choice. Without a consent plugin, its own configurable banner is shown.

Does Opti-Behavior work with WooCommerce?

Yes. Funnels find your shop, cart, checkout and order pages and fill ready-made recipes with them. Opti-Behavior Pro adds revenue and average order value as A/B test goals and analyses the checkout form field by field.

Can I send A/B test data to Google Analytics 4?

Yes, with Opti-Behavior Pro. The variant of each test is sent to GA4 through gtag.js or the Google Tag Manager dataLayer as four custom dimensions, with an impression event and a conversion event. No other behaviour data leaves your server.

My plugin is not on the list. Will Opti-Behavior still work?

In most cases, yes. Tracking runs on the rendered page, so themes, builders and most plugins need no integration. Unknown forms are tracked as plain HTML forms, and developers can add a form adapter or protect extra scripts with a WordPress filter.
