Terms for using Opti-Behavior and Opti-Behavior Pro.

These services are provided under the OptiUser brand by an auto-entrepreneur operating from France. For any question about these terms, contact: contact@optiuser.com.

2. Products covered

These terms apply to the Opti-Behavior WordPress analytics plugin, the Opti-Behavior Pro add-on, trial licenses, paid license keys, downloads, updates, support and related pages on optiuser.com.

The Free plugin is distributed through WordPress.org. Pro features may include session recordings, advanced heatmaps, error and friction tracking, Core Web Vitals, form analytics, user journeys, broken link detection, advanced A/B testing and other premium features described on the sales page.

3. Free plugin and Pro trial

The Free plugin can be used without a paid license. The Pro trial is currently advertised as a 6-month free trial with no credit card required. Trial availability, duration and feature access may change for future offers, but the active offer shown at the time of access applies.

A trial or test period counts toward the total 30-day evaluation/refund coverage described in the Refund Policy.

4. Paid licenses

Paid Pro licenses are sold as time-limited software licenses for the number of websites stated on the plan. The current Pro plan shown on the sales page is €89/year for 1 site. Business and Agency founding licenses may be offered for multiple sites and may include roadmap features as described on the sales page.

A paid license grants access to eligible Pro downloads, license validation, updates and support for the active license term. It does not transfer ownership of the software, trademarks, branding or intellectual property.

5. Updates and support

Active paid licenses include updates and support during the license period. Support covers installation, activation, license access and reasonable product usage questions. Support does not include custom development, server administration, third-party plugin debugging or guaranteed compatibility with every hosting stack.

6. Self-hosted data responsibility

Opti-Behavior is designed as a self-hosted analytics product. Analytics data is stored on the website owner’s WordPress server unless a specific feature states otherwise. The website owner remains responsible for configuring consent, retention, masking, access control and legal compliance for their own visitors and jurisdiction.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use Opti-Behavior to violate applicable law, bypass privacy requirements, collect sensitive data without proper authorization, reverse engineer license controls, resell access without permission, distribute modified paid packages, or use the product in a way that harms the service, other users, or OptiUser infrastructure.

8. Refunds

Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy. The standard refund/evaluation coverage is 30 total days, counted from the first trial/test access when a trial exists. If the trial/test period is 30 days or more, no additional paid refund period remains after purchase, subject to mandatory French consumer-law rights.

9. Liability

The product is provided on a best-effort basis. OptiUser is not liable for indirect losses, lost revenue, lost profits, loss of data, SEO impact, hosting issues, third-party plugin conflicts, or damages caused by incorrect configuration, except where French law does not allow such limitation.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Mandatory consumer rights under French law remain applicable where they cannot legally be excluded or limited.
