1. Scope
This policy applies to paid Opti-Behavior Pro licenses purchased from OptiUser or an official OptiUser checkout. It does not apply to the Free plugin distributed through WordPress.org because the Free plugin has no purchase price.
The refund window is calculated from the start of the trial or test period. Trial days and paid refund days together cannot exceed 30 days.
If you already tested the product for 14 days, 16 refund days remain after purchase. If the trial/test period is 30 days or longer, no additional refund period remains after purchase, subject to mandatory French consumer-law rights.

The total test/refund coverage is 30 days. Any trial, demo, test license, free Pro access or similar evaluation period is deducted from the 30-day refund coverage.
Example: if you test Opti-Behavior Pro for 14 days before payment, only 16 days of refund coverage remain after payment. If you test it for 30 days or more before payment, the 30-day coverage has already been used.
The current sales page advertises a 6-month free Pro trial with no credit card required. Because this trial exceeds 30 days, a user who completes or substantially uses that trial has already received more than the 30-day evaluation period. Therefore, no additional paid refund period remains after a later purchase, subject to mandatory rights under French law.
To request a refund, contact contact@optiuser.com within the remaining refund coverage period. Include the purchase email, order reference if available, website URL, license key if available, and a short reason so the issue can be understood.
Refunds may be refused when the total 30-day coverage has expired, when there is evidence of abuse, repeated refund requests, fraud, chargeback abuse, unauthorized resale, or violation of the Terms of Service.
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on the payment provider and bank. Access to paid downloads, license validation, updates and support may be disabled after refund approval.
Renewals are normally not refundable when the user already had a full license term to evaluate the product, unless mandatory French law requires otherwise or OptiUser decides otherwise on a case-by-case basis.
This refund policy is governed by French law. Nothing in this policy removes mandatory consumer protections that cannot legally be waived under French law.
This policy should be read together with the Terms of Service.
