Is Opti-Behavior an Analytify alternative?
Yes and no. Opti-Behavior is a self-hosted analytics and behavior suite that runs entirely on your WordPress server. It replaces Analytify if your goal is behavior and conversion data — heatmaps, recordings, funnels and A/B tests — kept off Google. But Analytify's job is to present Google Analytics reports, which Opti-Behavior does not do, so some teams run both: Analytify for GA reporting, Opti-Behavior for the self-hosted behavior layer.
Does Analytify collect its own data?
No. Analytify requires a Google Analytics account and displays the data pulled from it, so the underlying visitor data is stored by Google. Opti-Behavior collects and stores first-party behavior data directly on your WordPress server — no Google account needed.
