By default WordPress keeps plugin data after deletion. Opti-Behavior offers an option to erase all of its data when you uninstall, so nothing is left behind. Go to WP Admin → Opti-Behavior → Settings → Danger Zone.
Enable complete removal #
- Open the Danger Zone tab and find the uninstall / delete-on-uninstall option.
- Enable it so all Opti-Behavior data and settings are deleted on uninstall.
- Click Save Changes.
Uninstall the plugin #
- Go to WP Admin → Plugins.
- Deactivate, then delete Opti-Behavior (and Opti-Behavior Pro if installed).
Expected result #
With the option enabled, deleting the plugin also removes its database rows, files, and options.
Troubleshooting #
- Data remained after uninstall: the delete-on-uninstall option must be enabled before you delete the plugin.
FAQ #
Can I remove data but keep the plugin? #
Yes. Use the Danger Zone cleanup and full-reset tools instead of uninstalling.
