Opti-Behavior runs on WordPress Multisite. Each site in the network keeps its own analytics data and its own settings, because data is stored in per-site database tables and per-site upload folders.
How Multisite storage works #
Analytics tables use each site’s own table prefix, and file-based storage is written under that site’s uploads directory. This means data is isolated per subsite by design; there is no shared network-wide dashboard.
Requirements #

Steps to set up on a network #
- Install Opti-Behavior in the network’s plugins directory.
- Activate it per site (Site Admin → Plugins) rather than network-activating, so each site owner controls their own settings.
- On first activation, each site creates its own analytics tables and its own
opti-behavior-dataupload folder. - Configure privacy and tracking on each site under Opti-Behavior → Settings.
Expected result #
Every activated subsite tracks and reports independently, with its own dashboard, heatmaps and settings.
Troubleshooting #
- No data on a subsite: confirm the plugin is active on that specific site, not only network-wide.
- Storage questions: each site’s usage is shown on its own Storage screen; see storage overview.
- Cleaning up a site: use that site’s Danger Zone or uninstall cleanly to remove its data only.

Is there a network-wide combined dashboard? #
No. Data is isolated per subsite, so each site’s dashboard shows only its own traffic.
Can different subsites use different privacy modes? #
Yes. Privacy settings are per site.
