Steps #
- Go to Opti-Behavior → User Journeys → Entry & Exit.
- Review entry pages: where sessions start, their bounce rate, and how many pages follow entry.
- Review exit pages: where sessions end and each page’s exit rate.
How to use it #
- High bounce entry page: the landing experience or intent match needs work.
- High exit rate on a mid-funnel page: that page is losing visitors before the goal.
Expected result #
You can name your best and worst entry and exit pages and prioritise fixes.
FAQ #
Is exit rate the same as bounce rate? #
No. Bounce is a single-page session; exit rate is the share of sessions that ended on a page regardless of how many pages came before.
