Start it #
- Install and activate the free plugin.
- On the welcome screen, choose to activate the free 6-month Pro trial (or use the trial prompt inside the plugin later).
- Confirm. The plugin requests a trial licence. Depending on your Opti-Behavior version, Pro is then installed for you, or you download the Pro ZIP from the “Your Pro trial is ready” screen and upload it in Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, then activate it.
- Pro modules appear in the menu; Settings → License & Quota shows the active trial.
Get the most from 6 months #
- Week 1: open Page X-Ray on your top 5 pages and fix the first action of each.
- Week 2: watch 10 recordings of your main funnel’s weakest step.
- Week 3: fix the top 3 script errors and broken links.
- Month 2: run your first A/B test on the page with the most traffic.
- Every week: read the Smart Insights briefing.
Expected result #
Pro pages open without upgrade notices, and Settings → License & Quota shows the active trial.
FAQ #
What happens at the end? #
Pro features lock and new session recordings stop. The free plugin keeps working and the data already collected stays on your server. To continue with Pro, buy a licence and enter the key in Settings → License & Quota. See Licence and trial expiry.
The trial did not start. #
Retry from the welcome screen; your server must reach optiuser.com.
