Frontend Stats Bar: enabling and reading it

< 1 min read

The Frontend Stats Bar is a small overlay shown on your site’s front end to logged-in administrators only. It gives you at-a-glance live stats while you browse your own site. Visitors never see it.

Enable it #

  1. Go to WP Admin → Opti-Behavior → Settings → Frontend Stats Bar.
  2. Turn the stats bar on.
  3. Click Save Changes.

Reading the bar #

The bar shows live figures such as active sessions and today’s activity for the page you are viewing, so you can confirm tracking works while browsing.

Expected result #

While logged in as an administrator, the bar appears on the front end with live counts.

Troubleshooting #

  • Bar not visible: confirm it is enabled and that you are logged in as an administrator.
  • Counts stay at zero: a cache may be serving stale HTML; clear it and re-test.

FAQ #

Can visitors see the bar? #

No. It is restricted to administrators.
