On sites with many URLs the Sankey can get noisy. Page Groups combine similar pages (e.g., all products as “Products”) into one node for a readable flow.
Requirements #
- Plan: Opti-Behavior Pro
Steps #
- Go to Opti-Behavior → User Journeys → Page Groups.
- Create a group with a name and the URLs or pattern it should include (manual grouping).
- Or use auto-detect to suggest groups from your URL structure.
- Save. The Sankey and paths now treat the group as a single step.

Expected result #
The journey diagram is simpler and easier to read, grouping similar pages under one label.
FAQ #
Does grouping change my raw data? #
No. Groups only affect how journeys are visualised; underlying pageviews are unchanged.
