Understanding priority, severity, and confidence

< 1 min read

Each insight carries three ratings that decide how it is ranked. This article explains them.

The three ratings #

  • Priority – how urgently you should act, combining impact and severity.
  • Severity – how serious the detected problem is.
  • Confidence – how strong the evidence is that the issue is real.

How to use them #

  1. Start with high-priority, high-confidence insights.
  2. Treat low-confidence items as leads to investigate, not certainties.

Expected result #

You focus effort on the issues most likely to be real and most valuable to fix.

FAQ #

Why is a severe issue low priority? #
