This article explains what changes when your Pro license or 6-month trial expires, and what happens to your data.
Feature behavior on expiry #
When a license or trial expires, the Pro modules lock: Recordings, Forms, User Journeys, and Errors return to their upgrade state, and the License & Quota tab reflects the expired status. The free features keep working.
What happens to your data #
Your previously collected data is retained on your server. It is not deleted on expiry. Reactivating a license restores access to the Pro reports built on that data.
Expected result #
After expiry, Free continues normally, Pro pages show upgrade notices, and no data is lost.
Troubleshooting #
- Pro still locked after renewing: re-enter the key on the License & Quota tab to refresh status.
FAQ #
Will I lose my recordings and heatmaps? #
No. Data is retained; only Pro feature access is gated.
Can I export before expiry? #
Yes. Export dashboard data to CSV while Pro is active if you want an offline copy.
