Opti-Behavior works on WooCommerce stores without special setup. Product, cart and checkout pages are tracked like any other page, and Opti-Behavior Pro adds WooCommerce-specific A/B testing and revenue attribution.
What works on the free plan #
- Sessions, pageviews and heatmaps on shop, product, cart and checkout pages.
- Conversion funnels built from WooCommerce URLs (for example cart → checkout → order received).
- Traffic classification and referrer/UTM tracking for store traffic.

Pro: WooCommerce A/B tests and revenue #
This feature requires Opti-Behavior Pro. See the pricing page.
Pro adds a WooCommerce test type that varies product titles, images, descriptions, prices and add-to-cart text, and attributes revenue back to the winning variant.
Steps to build a WooCommerce checkout funnel #
- Go to WP Admin → Opti-Behavior → Funnels and click Create Funnel.
- Add a step for the cart page using the URL Contains rule with
/cart. - Add a step for checkout with
/checkout, then a final step for the order-received/thank-you URL. - Save and open the funnel to read drop-off between steps.
Expected result #
The funnel shows how many visitors move from cart to checkout to purchase, and where they drop off.
Troubleshooting #
- Checkout step never counts: some themes use a one-page checkout; match the real URL with URL Contains rather than an exact path.
- Cached prices in A/B tests: confirm your cache varies on the A/B cookie; see cache plugin compatibility.
- Missing revenue data: revenue attribution is a Pro feature; see revenue attribution.
FAQ #
Does Opti-Behavior slow down my store? #
No. The tracking script is async and store pages render normally; see the performance FAQ.
Can I A/B test product prices? #
Yes, with Opti-Behavior Pro’s WooCommerce test type.
