What is captured for each error #

  • The message and error type (TypeError, ReferenceError, promise rejection, chunk load, network…).
  • The full script URL, line and column, and the plugin or theme that ships the file.
  • The first frames of the call stack.
  • Browsers and devices affected, number of visits and dates (first / last seen).
  • The element clicked just before the error.

How to fix one #

  1. Sort by visits affected; start with errors on pages that matter (checkout, forms).
  2. Read the owner: an error in a plugin’s file → update or reconfigure that plugin, or contact its author.
  3. Check the browsers: an error only on Safari or old browsers often means unsupported code.
  4. Watch a recording of an affected visit to see the consequence.
  5. Mark it Fixed and check the next days that it does not appear again.

FAQ #

“Network requests failing (ad-blocker, offline or CORS)” – is it a bug? #

Usually not: ad blockers or bad connections. It is marked Needs review.

Are errors from browser extensions counted? #

They can appear; ignore those whose file is not on your site.
