The friction types #
- Rage Click — rapid repeated clicks on the same spot, signalling frustration.
- Dead Click — a click that does nothing, suggesting a broken or non-interactive element.
- Error Click — a click associated with a JavaScript error.
- Thrashed Cursor — erratic, back-and-forth cursor movement indicating confusion.
Steps #
- Go to Opti-Behavior → Errors Tracking → Friction Events.
- Filter by type. Each row shows the Type, Target / Area, Page, and Clicks / Signal.
- Open an event and use the linked recording to watch the friction happen.

Expected result #
You can name the exact element causing frustration and confirm it in a recording.
