| Status | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Open | The problem is still there (default) |
| Fixed | You deployed a fix – Mark Fixed |
| Ignored | Harmless or outside your control – Ignore |
- Filter the lists by status (All statuses, Open…).
- Reset on a friction group or section clears its counters to measure again after a fix.
- Broken links close themselves when the recheck succeeds.
A weekly routine #
- Dashboard: any spike since last week?
- JS Errors: fix or ignore the top 3 by visits.
- Friction: check probable code bugs.
- Broken Links: recheck and fix.
- Performance: one slow important page per week.
Who does what #
| Role | Task |
|---|---|
| Site owner | Reads the dashboard weekly, decides priorities |
| Developer | Fixes JS errors and code-bug friction, marks them Fixed |
| Content editor | Fixes broken links and dead clicks on content |
| Everyone | Ignores noise (extensions, bots) so lists stay useful |
More questions #
Does ignoring an error delete it? #
No, it only hides it from the open list.
Should I fix every error? #
No. Start with errors on pages that make money and errors that many visits hit.
Expected result #
Your lists show only open problems.
